Just before reaching the Abbey of Monte Oliveto Maggiore, Sodoma painted the refectory of the St. Anne’s in Camprena (1501-03). And another link that holds the monastery of Crete Senesi: it was founded in 1324 as a hermitage in forms Olivetan fortified by monks, recalls how the arched door that serves as input to the entire structure. It was totally renovated in the sixteenth century and was abolished in 1784 by order of Duke Leopold.
